Jay Challa is a distinguished business leader, technology executive, and entrepreneur with a remarkable career spanning over 30 years in information technology (IT) and engineering consulting. He was the co-founder of Ace Info Solutions (AceInfo), an IT services firm that catered to Federal agencies, which he successfully grew from his home basement to a workforce of 1,000 employees. As CEO, Jay led AceInfo through two significant acquisitions: first by Dovel Technologies in 2019, followed by the merged entity’s acquisition by Guidehouse in 2021. Prior to founding AceInfo in 2000, Jay held leadership roles at renowned consulting firms such as KPMG, BearingPoint, EarthTech (a Tyco International Company), and Ed Zublin AG.
Leveraging his deep expertise in operations, business development, capture management, project management, and technical leadership, Jay now provides strategic management and consulting services. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Virginia Small Business Commission, where he offers his business acumen and technological insight.
Jay is also deeply committed to community development and philanthropy. He serves on several boards and non-profit organizations and is the co-founder and CEO of Rural Empowerment, an organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunities in rural communities across the U.S. He is also the president of the American Telugu Association (ATA) for 2025-2026.
